thinning down my strat collection this is a mid 80's Tokai Goldstar I think copy of a '64 strat new vintage frets, new nut, handwound pickups the full with cloth leads etc., straplocks, paper in oil tone cap, 250k cts pots etc. etc. make offer more pics...

have a japanese 85 squier strat w/ 2 trees wanna put klusons on it and cover the 2nd tree it is a 62 copy any suggestions? it is a jv neck pretty much but with a 2nd string tree rosewood slab truss at heel etc.

any opinions? fernandes revival, squier jv, or tokai strat?

need to replace saddles on goldstar strat non-fender headstock what saddles fit? any vintage spaced saddles? what spacing is it? thnks

they sound hot vintage and have a yellow cloth over wiring, look to be alnico any ideas? dimarzio vs1's??? they sound pretty good any help appreciated

have a Fernandes 62 clone but has thick poly on neck any suggestions on smoothing this down 200 grit sandpaper any tips? thnks

have a non-lawsuit headstock goldstar, it had a 8 hole guard on it, but underneath was drilled for the 11-hole got a 11-hole 60's style 3 ply guard and my luthier says it doesn't match up with the holes, that he'd have to dowel and drill new holes anyone else have this problem? thought...

mine is the one with the pointy headstock bold 'Fernandes' in black written on headstock, vintage kluson type tuners, L-serial on neckplate, rosewood veneer board truss adjust at heel, thin neck, has ceramic pups etc. info appreciated.

have worn saddles a bit rusty but more so has some deep grooves, is it possible to fix this by sanding them or something, are nickel finished bent steel saddles. thnks

so my goldstar has an aftermarket pickup in the middle position and fender pickup covers do not fit it the pole pieces are narrower spaced than the fender cover am looking for a parchment cover for it so it loos like the other two right now it is bright white any ideas where I can find a...

any ideas? I put a gfs solid steel block in as well as fender 57/62 custom shop pickups before I had the full-size metal alloy and fender vintage noiseless seems like I lost sustain any ideas? Thnks
