Take a look at the grain. To die for, isn?t it?

Should be a RR-65, i guess.
@MIJvintage: That?s what i thought too. But the SR should have a short tenon. If this is a left over neck, why it?s got a long tenon?
@muccax: what pus have yours? Got pictures?
the G81xxxx identifies it to be build in July(the G). That pretty exactly matches the pu?s, which are made in June.(Serial number is 210605)
I?ve found another ?81 custom with split diamonds. I cannot say whether this is a G or a C in the serial, for me it looks more like a G. That would say it...
another question: isn?t the Greco Custom SR supposed to have the flower pot logo on the headstock? I?m a little confused about the diamond logo of that one. Any ideas?
I?m sorry for your back problems, i?m pretty tall, 6 feet 8 inches, so i understand and know the pain you got.
If i got you right, it means that a lighter one would probably sound better but it does not have to do so.
yes, this one is a really heavy piece of wood, but not abnormal, i guess.
I?ve read somewhere that the chambered ones got the better tone, more percussive and faster attack.
What is your opimion?
