i'm failing to see a problem here. what makes you so sure it's a fake? it seems kind of arbitrary for a person to fake a mid-'80s LS-50. certainly there are easier ways of scamming money out of someone.

how does it compare to vintage jazzmasters? or fender mij/cij for that matter?

i have no experience with that model, but $150 for just about any greco seems like a great deal.

Been lurking for a while, figured I'd post about my guitar. I was told this is a 1984 Greco EGC-95K. Any way to verify this? What are the specs on this guitar? Seems to have a maple top and mahogany back. The stock electronics were missing when I got it. Put in Fralins and it sounds amazing...
