Is there a better les paul out there for the money?

I have an Edwards, (an older one) which is a great guitar. I also have an Epiphone Elite goldtop, made by fujigen, which is also excellent. However, in my opinion, as a Gasser, the greatest Japanese Les Paul is.... The History version, made by Fujigen exclusively for the Shimamura music...

    Bacchus ID help needed

Thank you Hisashi. So then, am I correct that you are saying that the SA-800 could be made in Korea? The detail features certainly remind me of product made by Peerless and their web site shows a Fire Fox guitar with similar features. Is this possible?

    My new Edwards :)

Oh yeah, the Jazz with heavy strings gives a great tone. Gotta love that ebony fretboard too. I think it takes a little socket wrench, just like the Gibby. Great guitar and of course women want to date the guys with the red and black guitars, but they want to marry those with the white...

Interesting....so I am the only schmuck in North America who has bought not one, but two Bacchus Universe guitars thinking they were the handmade variety! I must say the Bacchus BST- 250 strat that I paid $240 for is way better than what you would get for that money at USA retailers. Its...

Tokai 1985 V60 or Stinger Guitar - Identification Needed

So I guess the guitar is the genuine article and the excellent condition is due to the discomfort of playing a Flying V! The pickups are indeed the outstanding feature of the guitar. I first plugged into the clean channel and was pleased with the great tone. I could play jazz and it sounds...

Tokai 1985 V60 or Stinger Guitar - Identification Needed

So there I was, just running some screens on eBay and up popped this insane offer on an alleged 1984 Flying V, w/ buy it now and free shipping to boot. I did and I have the V in my hands. However, it does not seem to be vintage as the plastic is all shiny and new. Suspecting something kinky...
