    Vintage bridge for TE 50

Ok, sound interesting. Does that mean that most brass saddles will fit the bridgeplate? If that is the case I might go for the compensated ones to get better intonation.

    Vintage bridge for TE 50

Does anyone know where I can get a vintage 3-saddle bridge that fits my Breezy TE 50 from 84/85? I just don?t like the feel of the original 6-saddle bridge.

New pots on Breezy? (With pics)

I don't think I would have done it if it was not there to begin with, simply because I did not know what I was missing out on. It seems to me that the only thing you need to do is put a cap in the right place. But if you are happy with your guitars the way they are, that is most important thing...

New pots on Breezy? (With pics)

Ok, I'll try  He changed everything to these spec's: http://www.tdpri.com/wiring3way.htm "The big cap (.05uF) was wired by the previous owner from the lug in the middle on the tone-pot to the lower lug on the volume pot, the exact opposite of what it should have been, compared to the...

New pots on Breezy? (With pics)

A friend of mine fixed the "mod" problem for me and the difference in overall tone quality was huge. It turned out that it was not the mod itself that was the problem but it was done incorrectly by the previous owner. My friend simply fixed the wiring and it sound so good right now that I don?t...

New pots on Breezy? (With pics)

By the way, can someone confirm if this one is from 84/85? It has two stickers at the end of the neck. One saying 50 and one saying "made in Japan". 5-digit serial 15*** (don`t remember the last three)

New pots on Breezy? (With pics)

Tha pictures of the headstock mysteriously did not make it to my cd-r which I uploaded the pic`s from. It looks identical to the one on tokairegistry.com that you can use to id the year of production. I see that there has been some discussion about the placement of the logos on these, above or...

New pots on Breezy? (With pics)

Although I know that some Tokai`s are quite expensive, it is still possible to do some great deals on them and hunting them down is a real thrill!! And the quality is in my opinion not far behind "the real thing", a lot of times better. I definitely hope this forum continues to exist and that...

New pots on Breezy? (With pics)

I will ask a friend of mine who is good with electronics and soldering to take a look at it. If there is a mod I will remove it and if the problem is still there I will change the pots. I`m not a die hard collector so breaking a few solder points does not worry me. Maybe it should?

Seller did not seem like the modifying kind of guy (had not played the guitar for 15 years) but maybe you are right anyway. Because the sound gets almost instantly thin and"weird" after a turn of only 3-4 millimeters on the volume pot. I will post detailed pics of everything because I want...
