my ls80 has a t top in the bridge and the original tokai 57 in the neck

i remenber seeing this on ebay ages ago , seller said it was new 1985 tls 60 still in the box has a bell shape truss rod cover

i think all ls models had 18 degree headstock angle since 1984

yeah it's been refinished, it looks like it was a solid colour possibly that metalic colour in the pickup cavities.

Looks like its made out of plywood.

i put acetone on my 1985 ls80 in the pickup cavity and it took the finish right off

my 1985 ls80 has the same kind of serial number where you can feel it

in the 85 catalog it says ls 60 has tiger cross grain laminated top and ls 80 has flamed maple laminate, is tiger cross grain like sycamore? maybe you can use that to help id it

does this look like nitro? i put acetone on it and it got all soft and slippy

the one with fret edge binding would probably be a tls80, it looks similar my 1985 tls80 but mine has tokai 57 pafs and not gotohs
