    The two Sumiya's in my neck of the woods carry a respectable number of Tokai's and thank goodness for Taniguchi Gakki for us lefties...29 Tokais in stock.

    That has been my experience with sending guitars to the US from Japan. BUT a recent customer told me he was charged about 10% customs fee (about $150) so I don't what is going on. Sounds "ayashi" to me.

    +1 marked used and no "shenanegans" on the real price. I've sent many (Tokai's included) with no trouble. Note though....the majority are lefties so maybe that throws them off a bit....lol.

    Well, pickguards from GFS and pickguard blanks in general are pretty cheap. Break out the router and the pattern bit. That headstock is in need of some attention, too. I can just see taking this thing to a local jam.......everyone saying....nani kore??? (what the hell is this??) :lol...
