Hey Cliff - that is a BEAUTY!! I'm going to have to plan a trip to Seattle area soon!

i'm just curious and already had a set of grovers in a box. i do find the Gotoh tuners pretty good, but just a bit "crunchy" when dialing in the string pitch.

Anyone change out the tuners on their Edwards Page models for Grovers? I'm thinking about putting in some Rotomatics, but don't want the guitar to become neck heavy.

This guitar was sold to a fellow forum-ite and is on the way to WA who may post pics along with his other Grecos when it arrives.

Hi Marcus - I know you are quite familiar with these guitars. Thanks I'll gently work with them a bit a see what happens. UPDATE: That worked..they are tight but using a fork to pry while rocking back and forth eased them right off.

Hi Jonas, Thanks for the excellent response! I'll look into the Faber bridge right away. Regarding the knobs, did your guitar have the super circuit? If so, just wondering how you pulled the old ones off? The pot shafts seem too fragile to take much tugging and pulling.

No gunky finish...it's fine under the rings. there is a little weirdness with the junction of the fingerboard and guitar top that doesn't show too much in that picture. Here's another photo that you can see the fingerboard/top junction in. There's a little break in the flame pattern running...

I just recently got this Greco LP. Great axe but I noticed a little flaw on the top just under the neck PU ring. There's a very small gap between the guitar top and PU ring where the top carve dips back down just a bit to meet the fingerboard. A little annoying but otherwise this guitar...

I've modded this one out with Burstbuckers, Tonepros lightweight tailpiece and locking studs, RS aged knobs, Tonepros/Kluson aged tuners, RS switchtip and pickup rings, and a Switchcraft toggle and jack. Still want to get a more precise pickguard. Great project 'burst...weighs about 8.8...
