    Finally took it apart It has a lable on the underside of both Pups "Tokai 57 PAF model" there are also some markinings in the Bridge Pup cavity "3=15BB=Y" and on the end of the neck it is marked "3=13BBH".     Thanks for the reply I had seen this but like you say there are some significant differences, It is a shame the catalogue is so blurred. STill makes me think this could be either an older version or a cheaper version as there is no locking trem or nut.

    Tokai LS70-oak pics etc. (takes some time to download)

    Hi this looks exactly like my LS75Q 2002 model, but that was listed as HDC Heritage Dark Cherry, and I bought it New. I thought the Oak finish was much darker, and did not have the same quilting as yours which as I say looks Identical to mine. Did you alter the nut cover?
