Not very long, less than a week. Bought from private collector/player on the west coast USA. It is in mint +++ condition. Looks like it just came from the factory. I could not put it down all weekend.

As crazy as it sounds, if I had the money which I don't, and knew how to bid in japanese, I would have gone higher. It's just a feeling you get about a guitar like that one. For that one, I absolutely would have gone to four or five G's. No joking. And that is the collector and player in me...

Has wonderful grain on the rosewood, and a nearly invisible center seam. Excellent craftsmanship. I would still take it (if I had the cash) even though it does look to have an alder body. Love the E pups. This one has player written all over it for sure! Cheers, Rich.

The pickups you show in your SS immediatly above have 5 holes in the bottoms whereas Shaps have only three. Cheers, Rich.

My vote is no. That does not look anything like the wire they used. There should be two individual wires per pickup twisted neatly together and the pickups should have a grey bottom, not black. Cheers, Rich.
