I had a MIK LS and it did not have a serial number, sounded ok. This one might sound even better with the uprated pups. Price is a bit steep, would have thought nearer £250-300, but I don't know what the new pups are worth?
Just my opinion.

Incredible, when you think the 1977 3 tone burst Fender Stratocaster I had, had a SEVEN piece body, no kidding! :lol: Great pickups in it though.

Wow, looks like a genuine 1979 st 60, the model number is stamped on the fret board. Someone with more experience will know for sure, but looks good to me, congrats. :D

A lot of st 60's had 'E' pickups, but some had 'U's, all ST 50's have 'U' pups, so if it has 'E's it will definately be a 60, if it has 'U's it could be either a 50 or a 60.... that's the first thing to check. :D

I think we used to use the word condenser in the UK, before we used the word capacitor in electronic circuitry.
