Catalog specs change around 1982. If you want to be sure you don't buy a veneer top, buy a pre 1982 LS-50, 60, 80 or 100. All feature a full maho back & full maple top. It's MIC for sure.

Indeed, take a look at the cavities and search for evidence for a refin.
Deviations form catalog specs during the 78-80 period is rare for Tokai.

Replacing parts is only necessary if the are not workimg anymore. Like a collapsed bridge. So no need if you feel everything's in order.
