If truss rod cover has two screws it is likely Japanese, three and it's likely Korean.Black cover plates on the back = Japanese, white or creme = Korean.
Price is also a good indication.

I've located a 7okai Springy Sound strat with 5 digit sin and early so called "Law Suit" headstock and I don't know whether to buy it or pass.Reason being that someone has fucked with the pickups as it now has a Humbucker at the bridge, some kind of bar p/u at middle and possibly original single at ...

Will it say Tokai on the shirt? Otherwise people might mistake it as a Gibson Les Paul. :o It would be cool to have a selection of more guitars i.e. Springy Sound or Goldstar Sound Strat and Tele copies as well as the Love Rock. I suppose I'm expecting a lot here.Anyway I would order at least 1 in L...

Did some research on the Web and found that it's a '79 Silverface. Not collectable but very usable. I scored a NOS 70's Fender Logo on ebay for $12.50 US using buy it now.Logo will set me back almost as much as the amp  Only effect I've used so far is the Volume. <font size=-1>[ This Message w...

I visited a local consignment store today looking for a used leather jacket when a guitar amp caught my eye.Upon closer inspection I realized it was a late 60's-early 70's Fender Champ, all original in good condition except for missing the logo on the grille. The price was $40 Cdn (about $27.US). I as...
