Seems there is no decal in the F-hole.
The green tuners look Chinese/Korean but obviously they might be replacements.

Need close up pics of as many details as possible.

Re: TRUSS ROD

sometimes the truss rod is at the end of its adjustment , you can purchase small nylon washers on ebay . you need to remove the adjustment nut then add a washer then refit the nut . hope this helps There is a risk that the rod snaps when adding a washer. I'd say it is a 50/50. In my experience the ...

Perhaps Mark can help you.
It is rather common that dealers make a value statement.
Some charge a few bucks and some don't.
Ask him.

Re: insurance

My home owners insurance does not do enough to protect my gear.About $1500 total. The Agent told me to get an estimation for insurance worth from a dealer to bump up my policy to where I would have replacement coverage.I probably got around 30 guitars..I am not as concerned about getting a fair mark...

Cali Girl wrote:Early construction should really have a 2 piece neck with center seam.
The 3 or so early FLG Burnys I had had 2 piece center seam necks with heel cap.

Reagarding the one on these pics I'd say Tokai from the fretjob :D
No idea why I feel so but that looks very much like Tokai FEB filing, ha ha.

Re: THE PHANTOM FINDS BRAZILIAN

You can believe the phantom or not. There has never been any confirmation of Brazilian used on Tokai guitars. I've owned many and would say there were none that were Brazilian. But now the Phantom has confirmed with the help of others that the LS100 in question has been confirmed as Brazilian. I kn...

Tailpiece alloy

Yo everyone, What do you reckon the Greco tailpieces actually contains? Did anyone look into that. I have a guy over here claiming all Mint Collection has aluminum tail pieces. But, I can't recall I ever had a "regular" MC with aluminum tailpiece. So, either every single one I had had changed tailpi...

It is very easy :D Three heads and obviously the one to the left is not a big head. Fender have had two big head versions and they are both present here. The first is pre-CBS, 1958-1965 and the other is CBS 1966 onwards. Then wouldn't that make japaxe 's reply correct? Yes, missed that one. But for...

Hm the only red and other custom colors greco strats I have seen were all 82' with matching headstock. But I agree your greco looks legit. This can be a limited run custom color or simply a refinish.. SE600 use to be nitro during super real era (late 79 -> 81) but I don't know for 78'. I had a whit...
