Good document from "the troubles" period. Using the terms Strat, Telecaster, PB and JB must have gone down well...

More to come.
And with a little luck I will be the owner of the documents soon.

Those tuners remind me of those some late 50's Gibsons had. Here on a 58 LP Custom. http://i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag132/Hepphepphepp/P1110630_zpsacf23f6b.jpg Seems the tuners were Epiphone and when Gibson bought Epiphone they those tuners on some Gibsons. (The 58 is for sale if anyone is inter...

Sticker? Is it a hollowbody?
No, Terada made LPs and SGs from Terada sometimes have a sticker with a serial number instead of having the serial inked onto the headstock

As far as I know they were all MIJ. I do remember reading an article stating that some people mistakenly thought that Orvilles with the serial number beginning with K claimed that they were Korean made where in fact K in the serial number denotes Terada made Orvilles and ObGs... This might be where...

Just came across a person who claims some Orvilles were made in Korea.

As the headline says: Orville.

It's the first one I have ever seen. It also isn't offered in the catalogs in that colour. The colour seems period correct though for Burny and I have seen other non catalog models. I know Tokai did offer an all gold custom in the mid 80s; LC-65. By the way, I agree with the colour. That urin goldy...
