Here is one I put together with a old allparts neck and a hosokawa body. It has Kinman woodstock pups. Great guitar for less than $600 http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t152/petjyr/rat-o-casterkropp-3246.jpg http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t152/petjyr/rat-o-casterfram-3247.jpg http://i159.photob...

I cant imagine the big guitar companies putting in so much work and attention to details as these japanese companies. You probably have to go for the historic line and those cost plenty.

This made me want a Bacchus BLS-59. 8)

Is the FgN related to the History guitars? I see they have the same marking on the trussrod, "circle fretting system"

I saw that one Mick, really nice but not my favourite color. If it had been sunburst or tobacco it would be heading to sweden by now.

1200 US dollars

And I actually prefer the Japan made ones. Not saying Korea och China cant make good guitars but for future resale value I think Japanese guitars are easier to sell.

What LP to buy for around $1200

Hi guys I have started to look for a nice LP type of guitar. I was thinking of paying around 1200 bucks. What can I get for that sum? These are some candidates: Tokai - LS-80 or better. Greco - egf1000 or better Bacchus - dont know their modelnames but I heard they are good ObG - Some of the reissue...

Greco with odd trusscover

Hi I got an offer to swap this greco to my Tokai ST60. Tried to look for info here and on other sources but cant find any guitar with this kind of trusscover, maybe its changed. Then the cover on the back for electronics also looks little odd with 6 screws when those Ive looked on have only 4 screws...

I have a set of Kinman woodstock on a homebrewed strat with allparts neck and a hosakawa body. They sound terrific. I think there are some soundclips of those on youtube.
