@ easy crossing:
Yep, fellow!

I really love active exchange of facts, but don?t like to fight with ignorant, arrogant people ?bout wonderful & nice themes that make my special interest, main commitment & leasure activities so balanced and rewarding.

To me this thread is closed.

There never was a real/honest interest by the opener. He didn?t need any help, just wanted to provoke / (*&) around...

With the prices of Japanese (mediocre) copies I can just as well add a few hundred ? and get a Gibson. This Burny will end up where it belongs: my dusty basement. I think you?re visiting the wrong forum! I am amazed by the lack of pragmatic thinking here sometimes. Some Jap Lesters ar...

Every Burny-Fernandes Les Paul -model serial-# starts with X or Z. The next number declares the production-year of the instrument. For example I show some pics of my 1976 BURNY-Fernandes Les Paul FLG-70, serial-# x61901: http://i533.photobucket.com/albums/ee336/mojoburst/Burny-FernandesLesPaulFLG-70...

The early BURNY-Fernandes FLG-models are equipped with those crappy pots & caps. Pots have 250 k-Ohm. 16mm instead of 24mm housings. I replaced the shitty electronics of my BURNY-Fernandes FLG-70 (with original 'Les Paul'-logo on headstock) with high quality stuff and replaced the cheapo PU?s. I als...

Hi MOJO HOBO, the early, pre-Super Real -GRECO?s had a flatter headstock-angle. The headstock-angle of my 1975 GRECO pre-Super Real EG-700 T is 14 degrees. So the nice, flat cases were no problem for this guitars. Don?t use this cases for LP-style guitars with 17- or 18 degree headstock-angle! Other...

MIJ vs. MIC? A never ending battle? Some selected MIC-instruments can rival the goodies from the golden era of japanese classical copys/repros of the american all-time-faves. The end-?70s/early-?80s MIJ?s are the 'good OLD stuff' / oldtimers, Edwards LP?s for example are the 'NEW BREED'. Both are go...

Hey Udonitron,

very nice images of a superb guitar!!! THANX for sharing!

The off-center tenon is exactly the one I wanted to see. I think the 'no-named'-Goldtop is made ca. 1980, yours around end?80s, early ?90s.

THANX again!

BTW: Do you have a pic of your collection?

All the best,
Ralf

Hey udonitron,

that guitar looks amazing. I like the aged plastic-parts and the fretboard with the nicely darkened inlays. Seems to be all naturally aged. Please show some new/better pics when the guitar has arrived.

Greetings,
Ralf
