Hi Bliz, My guess is a 2004 Solid Colour (Black Beauty or GT) LS70 that's had the solid colour stripped from the top and some sort of refinish. The tuners have been changed to Grovers and the knobs replaced etc. Looks like it's got something like a 3 piece plain top and a 3 piece back. The neck pick...

I've been using these for years http://www.interparcel.com/ and they've never let me down. I always choose interparcel economy which is quoted as 1-2 days but so far it's always been next day. I guess if its a remote part of the highlands it might be 2 days though.

Currently using a Line 6 DT25 with a POD HD500 and a JTV 59 Variax. Overall very impressed but it initially takes a lot of setting up.

and after a lot of fiddling though I tend now to mainly stick with the Fender Blackface Vibrolux and Marshall JCM 800 settings.

The pip or nipple in the open book headstock denotes an export model to some overseas countries such as the UK. This get's around the licencing issues as for Gibsons it's the headstock that's patented.

Seem to remember the ES models have either Jazz or Rock pups. If you look at the label and there's a J after the model then they're jazz. So if you want something more rocky or bluesy it could be worth a try dependant on what you've got. Having said that I've tried a few different pups inc Fralins i...
