Tried Lollars, Bareknuckles (the stormy monday is my favouriete), Peter Florance Voodoo's and a few others IMO the best PAF style pickup available is the RD Pickups P1

Saying that the MK II's that come with the Tokai are very nice pickups too

Just wanted to vouch for Srecko (Diodibuh), very honest guy, I've dealt with him many times in the past, and played most of these beauties personally. The Jerzy Drozd was the supprise one here for me, a wonderful guitar!

Santa brought me the Palmer compressor today. It does exactly what I want and I won't be needing a boost pedal. This pedal sounds very clean and transparent yet it really packs a punch, the level knob has 22dB gain on tap! I'm glad John talked me out of getting the Behringer thing now. You must hav...

Would love to hear some better recordings, IMO your voice suits VH much better than Gary Cherone's did! Pretty amazing gig to land, doesn't get much bigger than that :)

Dave - are you mad?

Played this one, and there is something about it, it's the best sounding Les Paul I've ever played, which is a lot, including some very expensive ones! Everyone who picked it up at the Uk convention commented on how amazing it was.

Burny Accoustics are really nice, the late 70's ones had a certain Mr Momose in charge. I had a BJ50 J45 copy which was very nice, and I once played a Burny Hummingbird owend by Villager that was simply wonderful.

They do crop um on YJ quite a bit for not too silly money!

The Joyo is really nice, very like a dynacomp, the Behringer is a bit rubbish IMO :)
