I have one of these as well, they were a prototype and only made in small runs with those specs, mine is one of six made in 2002.

sigh..... Isn't the really important thing - how does it play? I couldn't give two rat turds if Japanese components were assembled in China, Korea or Timbuktu. Seems like all of the psuedo cork sniffing is for the sake of argument only. Yes it is important how they play and sound and that th...

You are just one of these idiots that can't be told a thing Special K. You believe what you want to and we'll know the truth, EDWARDS have been made in China for years and that is a FACT........you are a ^&*( stiring idiot and that also is a fact....Take your bullsh1t elsewhere mate because you don't know a friggin thing. You offer absolutely no proof of anything but continuously speak utter rubbish. You would argue with ESP if they told you that they ARE made in China, because thats where all the relevant information came from on this forum and the MLP. I really want to see a post from you stating some actual credible facts to support your argument , and i can also tell you that that will take a very very long time because you are WRONG.......What is happening to this forum......

Ian, i have spoken with Tokai on several occasions about these fakes and they never ever expressed any interest in doing anything about this problem. Tokai is a relatively small company and sells everything it makes and in fact, has trouble keeping up with demand for their products so i don't think...

The LS-125 and 135 are the same guitar, the higher model number only means that the 125 {125,000 yen} had a price rise 135 { 135,000 yen}. It is exactly the same guitar.

Looks fine mate, very nice colour. Most all the Korean fakes were made from 2001 through to 2005. There are now some coming out of China but i have never seen an early model being faked..

About the "criminals" making the fakais, the name Les Paul is a registered trademark and thus Tokai has been a criminal in the past. I think that is a little too extreme a statement. It is true that using trademarks without a licence is illegal. But Wicked Tone found out and knew the guitar was a f...

I beg to differ with some of that Peter, i have a LP with a 3 piece top that is absolutely amazing tone wise and i think because the centre piece of wood that houses the bridge and tailpiece and including the pickups has no centre join, that the vibration transfer is actually better, i would put thi...
