No problem. As long as the auction doesn't have any bids, I'm more than happy to work out something off ebay.

Shipping to Australia is problematic. Last time I checked, the only available option via the post office was express mail, which ran about $300. If you are really interested, let me know and give me your exact address and I'll get a quote. Trini, what repair are you talking about? Nether guitars hav...

FA/FS: 80 Tokai Reborn Old LS-50, 06 Tokai LS-165VF SOLD

I have 2 killer Tokais up on ebay right now. Both auctions say no international shipping, but I'm willing to do so for a forum member assuming it's financially feasible. BOTH SOLD Let me know if you have any questions on either of them: http://shop.ebay.com/currypowder63/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=...

What tuners are on the guitar now? Kluson style tuners are typical for the Tokai's I've seen, and they have Japan stamped inside the casing. They have Kluson style tuners, which are fine. But they are non-original. Apparently someone had installed Grovers at some point (you can see the filled in ho...

WTB: Tokai Early 80s Period Correct Tuners and Case

Hey all, Just picked up an 80 Tokai Reborn Old Goldtop and it has non-original tuners and case. Definitely interested in replacing the tuners with "Tokai" branded period correct ones. Also interested in finding an original case, although that's not super important to me. I'm in the US, although I wo...

Bump this up to the top. Still available. Willing to entertain any and all trade offers. Not looking for anything in particular, so hit me up with what you have. Worst I can say is "not interested"!

Johnny, I believe I bought that beater that you saw on ebay a while back. Here's my posting about it: http://www.tokaiforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=11619&highlight= Actually, I still have it and am keeping it. I bonded with it almost immediately. While the 78 I'm selling is in MUCH better shape, I just ...

You never see these for sale, and now there are 2 for sale in the same forum, mine (in the USA) and this one in Europe. These are great guitars and exceedingly difficult to find in this configuration. Anyone in Europe that likes pointy guitars will have a hard time finding a better guitar at any pri...

FS: 78 Greco EX800HB Explorer

1978 Greco Explorer Copy model EX800HB. I have 2 of these, one a 78 and one an 82, I've decided to sell the 78 and keep the 82 beater. This is essentially an Ibanez Destroyer with different pickups and finish option (manufactured in the same plant by the same people). It's an exceedingly rare guitar...

Are you looking for true clones (open book headstock) or are you willing to expand your search a bit. The reason I ask is that I stumbled across a 1977 Electra x410 locally and picked it up for less than $500. It's a 335 style body, but it has a fan headstock and triangle/diamond inlays. The quality...

I did not need to see that!!!! That is my favorite look for a LP, and those early Custom Authentics are great.

I only wish it was in the US or the exchange rate was a little more favorable. I'm pretty sure it's too rich for me, but what would shipping to the US be?
