No idea what's happening now! 'tis really beginning to get on my goat now as well!

I shall ring Bob later today and see what I can find out!

Show off... ;) Jamieh: Which Bare Knuckles are you using? Great pickups, I've got a few sets in various guitars and they all sound excellent (especially when the amp is cranked! ;) ). My faves are still my first set of Black Dog's, though the recent purchase of a VHII is steadily becoming a serious...

I don't understand this LS, ALS etc business either I think though, that everything over a 60 model number is Jap made, and everything below is Korean. So the LS 48 and LS50 are Korean, all others are Jap. As mentioned above though, don't really worry about that, just base it on model number! The hi...

Hmmm collection?! Well... I am quite reserved really Guitars: USA G&L Comanche - the best guitar I've ever played bar none Tokai LS150 - lovely, but not as versatile as the G&L. Still does teh LP jobs extremely well!! :D Epiphone Les Paul Std - Bareknuckle pickups make this guitar OK, but it ain't r...

There has been 1 post appearing on a lot of forums - I am supprised that such niche market supplier can gernerat so much web interest !!! Be interesting if any regulars who have a relationship with ishibashi can trawl up some deifinitive answer. I'm not being suspicious - but I think the info could...

These threads are getting silly Why is there so much bitching around? Surely if there is a quality control issue with Tokai guitars Tokai will have to srot it out. The guitars I have had in here have all been extremely good. As guitarslinger has said several times, the dealers should keep an eye out...

Well, I've been waiting very patiently for CODA to take delivery of the LS150 I have on order. I have been thinking about this guitar for months - it's almost a mythical thing in my mind at the moment. Hopefully I'll be cruising from Birmingham to Luton to take collection at the end of June. Don't ...

About the delay in production just remember Tokai is not a large factory like others, and they are concerned to the quality. The 150s are a very special model and reaching the high end so they would be make them very good..... Yeah I know, like I said, these things happen. Doens't make it less annoyi...

This is all very interesting and rather shocking. I am a Tokai dealer although have only recently started doing it. I have found the quality to be very good and the service given by Bob has also been very good. Sometimes the supply is a little sketchy and I am very annoyed that the LS150s have been ...

I will not mention any names for obvious reasons. One particular company springs to mind - when I read that post I had to cough their name. Hope it didn't sound like one of their coughs or I might be sued. Shhh!!! This is just a theory, but I reckon the heads following the radius of the head...

I just checked all the 3-a-side Tokais that I have in stock and NONE of them have tuning machines in a straight line. . The issues were not that they were not in a straight line, but the spacing was out between most of them. If there was a 5mm gap between the Bottom E and A then the others varied b...

B-Grade stock should always be labelled as such. Whoever it is made by. However, I have heard from certian reliable sources that certain companies do sell off B-Grade stock without indicating them as such. I will not mention any names for obvious reasons. If I ever had any B-grade stock in I would d...
