..... but then again.... it'd probably be a damn nice uitar if someone hadn't tried to pretend it was a Gibbo!

That lovely sound that Slash created on the Appetite for Destruction album was not played with a Gibson, although often it is believed it was, it was actually a very good copy!

Hmmm that is interesting I am pretty sure it does state in the eBay sellers T&Cs though that you are not allwoed to sell replica/fake stuff ? You are correct in replica and fake. But it has to be known to be fake and thats where the owner of the tradmark has to inform ebay via the VERO program that...

Although maybe it is OK if you clearly state that it IS a replica and are not trying to palm it off as genuine?

Bareknuckles for certain.

To determine exactly which ones you want I'd visit the Bareknuckle forum and ask around.

Haha! Yeah, Fender are VERY hot on this sort of thing. To be honest though, eBay should pull it. The listing is in breach of their terms and conditions. Because it has "Gibson" in the title. It is not a Gibson so can not be advertised as one. You're not allowed to sell replicas on eBay anyway. Well,...

Guys, it doesn't help you to get your guitars in time ... but I want you to accept my deep sympathy !! :-? On April 4th, I've cancelled my order with Coda because I've changed my mind and bought an old LS150 instead directly from Japan. Inspiration ??? 8) Think it was !!! After all - I've done the ...

This is stupid Just spoke to Bob. Apparently they have been having trouble locating suitable woods for the tops for these guitars so they are still not here. I am not even sure they have been made!!! Well... finished anyway! Apparently they will now be here for the beginning of August.... but I dunn...

I MUST ring Bob on Monday and chase this up. Been absolutely hectic here lately so haven't had chance but it is ridiculous, he promised me two weeks ago I'd have at least one by now, but if Coda haven't even got them he's not going to be sending me one...!! I have had two on order since April.

Should do!

Can't remember what the correct gear ratio is mind you, but that's prob about right. Won't be miles off though as its clearly deisgned for a LP type guitar so scale length will be accommodated for.

I understand this philosophy but if there is not 'a local store' or if you are unable to travel or there is not the choice available at your local store then why not use the internet. Its horses for courses. Afterall most 'local stores' have a website and sell mail order or sell through e-bay. Also...

One final thought - as buyers we all want cheap prices and next day delivery, in doing so are we just rewarding the volume orientated box shifter. Perhaps if we paid a little more and waited a little longer we'd get a better service? + a million If you want dirt cheap then I am afraid in many cases...

Having never had any B grade stock issues to deal with I can't answer in that respect. What I can tell you though is that the big companies are able to buy at better prices than smaller dealers like myself. Cutting the price right down to their levels can on occasion almost make it not worth doing! ...
