hergs,

Looking forward to seeing it.

When it's time to put new strings on it, you should look up Charles Cilia.

He's in Horningsea Park and he's da bomb at setting them up. He's the only luthier I'll let touch my Tokais. 02 96080661

Welcome Ducati, We have 2 things in common, I think that Ducati make the finest Supebikes on Earth and rate Tokais as the same. Both worth being at least a little passionate about :D Yep, if I bought, say, an ES100, LS/ES120 or LS150, I would get the original case. If you look after your gear, it wi...

Yes the LS200 & LS320 can be made lefty. Add approximately 10% to either guitar. The wait would be around 4-6 months for one of these. Well worth it, I'm sure. If you go the Ishibashi option and do the personal import into Oz, here is what it should cost, given that their 20% discount still applies:...

Hi hergs, Welcome aboard. An LS90 is made in Japan and would be one fine instrument indeed. The RRP should be around $1900 Aussie. There is also a LS53 which is made in Korea and is as hans-jurgen says. It should retail around $1100 Aussie. Where in Australia are you? A little birdie told me Tokais ...

There is some heavy reading in there.

At last, common sense seems to have prevailed.

Notch up one for the good guys, although I'm not sure there are "white hats" and "black hats" involved here like the old Hollywood westerns.

Question for Peter Mac & other Aussies

Great forum, although I don't own a Tokai... yet!! Can some of the other Aussie members fill me in on some history on Tokai in Australia? More specifically, a timeline of the various companies, individuals that imported Tokai products to Australia. Is there an importer here currently, or, do you hav...
