a set of grover weigh 12ozs, a set of klusons weigh 4 ozs so with klusons on the guitar would be 8ozs lighter!!

i cant see any reason to put a 5 way switch on a tele mike....so I doubt its original..

I would just buy a 3 way switch and use that

you would only need a 5 way if you want to split the coils on the humbucker, otherwise its just standard tele wiring is it not?
