i have the same in tobbaco burst.
I didn't like the mk2 and changed to hand wound paf reproduction

I also can't get use to the high friction CTS pots... maybe they will be easier t ...

Wron guess
I tried it but found the bridge very harsh.
So i couldnt resist mounting my beloved hand wound PAF (hepcat 59 paf, made in france)

I still have to get used to the stifness of the ct ...

i studied modern vs 50s wiring and came to the conclusion that i only need to move the cap to the middle lug if the 2 vol pots.
i did so, it works and it seems if have more controls with the tone/vol ...

Or maybe something's wrong with my tokai : that neck angle seems fairly high ; i have to to-wrap the thing if i dont want the bridge to be soo high that the stud would bent.

well i guess i bought a case for a 14? and my tokai is a 18?...
Just to be sure : are we sepaking about the neck/body angle and not about the headstock/neck angle ?

i just bought a nice second hand LS85F guitar.
It is wonderfull but i noticed the tailpiece studs are bent. Seems a common defect amoung tokai guitars...
