To me that seems like a 2 piece back. It looks like I can see a seem in the back of the guitar. This would make this a non premium model. I would put a guitar like that at about $800-$900 USD (my c ...

I pulled the PU there is nothing written behind them. I pulled one of the tuners and dabbed a qtip with acetone and nothing came of. So, it is defiantly a Poly finish. So, I would say you are right ...

Both the 1/4" jack and 3 way switch are Switchcraft. Here is also a pic of the top coming though the cutaway on the top side of the guitar. Not sure if this is anything different between models ...

I know this is a LS-? from 2010 MIJ. I do not know what model. It says Made in Japan on the back of the headstock so I am not confusing this with a 1981 SN. It looks like it has Orange drop caps se ...

I have a Burny FLC-85BL from 1978. I also have 3 LS series Tokais. I have to say the Burny is one of my favorites. It was also the cheapest of the 4 Les Pauls in the pic. They did a great job copi ...

I have two 1981 ls-80's. One Burny 1978 FLC-85BL I was told this was made by Tokai with the Burny name on it. These three guitars are very good. Much better than Gibsons. I also have a 2010 LS Tok ...

An XLR jack on a guitar is very strange. I wonder if it is actually wired like a normal 1/4 jack just to not get pulled out. Like maybe the owner used the guitar live with a wireless and preferred t ...

Look at picture 6. The guitar is flattened down at the xlr jack and is then stained/clear coated to blend. The top binding is also flat. I doubt someone did this later and re-finished the guitar to ...
