From 1989 thru 1991 I worked with many Japanese, at Hitachi Semiconductor US, formerly in Irving, TX.

The sound quality isn't great, it's just a little camera mic. There's a phasing effect as he moves the camera around.

Maybe someone just swapped out the neck.

Mine has a later dated neck, but I knew that when I bought it.

Those early JV's are some good wood, though man. It's my favorite Strat and I paid like $4 ...
