I have a very similar inky too. Same year and specs.
Wonderful guitar.
I get along with it better than my 1979 LS100.

Put that set of minihumbuckers you already have in a guitar is a good way to go too.

The old 1970's Gibson Les Paul Signature hollowbodies had an XLR out for low impedance right in to the recording console, as well as a standard 1/4 jack.
