I have an 84 LS50 and 84 TST80 both with that made in Japan sticker, the LS50 has it across the top of the headstock above the 50 sticker, the TST80 has it in the same place as that Daphne Strat, belo ...

well, as stated previously, if Tokai Gakki was under the impression that a two piece neck was actually the way to go then we would have seen that on LS models for the past ~40 years, but that was not ...

First difference is that as I mentioned, two piece is more labor intensive and for the reasons noted that extra cannot always be offset by material savings.

The other difference is that as Tokai an ...

If your guitar is all original with E's and well set up, I don't see how they're not one of the best Strat pickups, ever, IMO very few Fender models are as good.

Someone around here did a recording ...

Bad news, that's (a) not an LS80 and (b) it's not 1980's and (c) when the frets are onto the binding there's no FEB or nibs or whatever you call them and (d)I doubt that it's MIJ either, looks chinese ...

That burst is Sen, not Alder... it does really look like one piece to me but you can't say 100% from the pic's and with a dark edge, handling it is the only way to know for sure.
