I have a '92 Japanese book from Mook called "The Gibson" and that lists veneer-topped ObG LPs priced at about 125000 Yen. These appear to have been the top of the range at the time?

Not such great shape but from the pics that are posted in the auction I'm pretty sure it's a real OBG. For a cheap enough price the headstock crack's not a deal kill ...

Actually, I have a '93 Fujigen 59R OBG, no PG hole and also with the space in the serial number between the 3 and the rest of the numbers...

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the neck shape of the Custom models differ from the 59R models?

I would like to know this for Orville by Gibsons and Tokais as well (old models up to let's say 1983).
