As one of those people who bought a Tokai blind (gold korean made explorer) I'm with those above who wouldn't think twice about it... although I'm not so sure about the chinese made ones.
The Japanes ... |

Change what ever you feel like changing dude.
Personally I wouldn't bother with the Buzz Feiten system.
You shouldn't need to upgrade the bridge, as mentioned above.
I never quite understood why yo ... |

AS mentioned above those internals look standard tokai 80/90 to me.
But those gibson pickups probably make it a bargain as they could fetch you good money if you sell em, they'd most definitely cost ... |

I will admit that I'm not the worlds biggest fan of old guitars, mainly due to the prices they command.
That said a top notch 1980 LS200 for $6100 probably better value than you'd pay for a similar v ... |

That does look mighty fine, and those early eighties Tokais are the holy grail for some people.
Still a darn site cheaper than an original '59 Gibson |

That's a tricky one.
Second hand Seymour Duncan humbuckers tend to go for ?30-?40 each, but you get quite a few of those flying about so the prices are pretty stable.
Personally I reckon ?10-?15 eac ... |

I'd quite dig that sort of build quality and features for a more realistic price.
