Yes. They differ from the Frontier in construction and hardware. At least the ones I've seen.

I've seen four in thirteen years. My les paul has no building similaritys with any other manufacturer, so it is probably a very small Gakki if they all were made under the same roof.

The Maxon made Greco pickups up until 1982 only had 2 small holes in each bobbin.

The Fujigen made pickups from late 1981 on might have 3 holes in some later years but I think they have 2 small hol ...

The model number is the price tag.
The 120 000 yen model comes with a 15 000 yen case included.
So if you loose the case you're left with a EGF1050.
If someone has changed one of the DRY Z pickup's ...
