I am sorry but I have no idea at all.Just checked the color codes in tokai catalogues and all I see is WR for wine red but nothing about the misterious Y...
Maybe some specialists like villager or Gabe may know what it means

I think it is an SD-402 from 86.Looks original but impossible to tell if some parts have been changed for me.

Have the guitar here now and fortunately it sounds and plays really great even when I am not drunken :lol: Hard to believe how good the quality is for an instrument in this price range.What amazes me most is how good the floyd rose works and how the guitar stays in tune and even more the effectivity...

Hi Ron, This is indeed an LS-70-GT from very late 1981. The Model Year 1982 began production usually around October 1981. The serial number is from very late 1981 ( 1014000) as they finished around 1016000. This was the only LS model to have an 18deg headstock pitch but poly lacquer instead of N/C....
