Bridge is the screw in to stud Nashville type too.
Didn't Tokai use ABR-1?

Re: LP Deluxe / mini Humbucker style modification ?

The mini's would have been factory and then it was routed for full size humbucker at the bridge. The screw holes at the neck PU are from something called "goof rings" that they used at one point. Yeah, never should have let that '71 go(should have kept the JMP combo too), loved the deep dark color o...

That one does look like a major keeper.

How you like the Legend amp?
I had one of those model30 and really liked it.
After it broke for the 3rd time(the amp "tech" had no clue and just replaced random parts) I ditched the chassis and used the cab for another project.

Re: 1985 Tokai TLC 65

On a second note - I have a set of Norlin era mini humbuckers laying around - I'd love to transform whatever I buy into a Les Paul Deluxe. Is that possible with a Japanese copy? Great Idea, I've always got along well with the deluxe minis. The mounting is a little different with a bar screwed in at...

I have a 1984 RS135 and it's one of the most comfortable playing guitars I own.

I know the 80's Fender Contemporary Strats have the 12" radius. Love it! I could do without the System 1 trem, wish it had a standard trem. Stays in tune with dive bombs but doesn't work for subtle vibrato like a standard. https://66.media.tumblr.com/80b5499258d6401fd55df79b3715d44e/tumblr_pkrl4rwy7...

I think this is the same guitar. Somebody bought it and knew what is was and is reselling. Or this one and the first ad are some B.S. ad posted to collect whatever. Maybe I should have checked it out when I saw it listed for $600! :o https://66.media.tumblr.com/3a0deacea25be7a30b7f23731c093ace/tumbl...

2009? LS160??

For sale in my town, I know nothing about it or the seller. buyer beware. When first listed this morning at $200 less I thought about going and taking a look, but something didn't seem quite right about it. https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/msg/d/woodland-tokai-love-rock-ls160-japanese/6960506811....

I like how Cliff's site has a quantity order button so you could put 5 or 6 LS200 in your cart.
What, no price break if I buy 6? :D
