Hi Ian, thanks, yeah, all is well on this side of the channel. :) Hope you're fine too. I spent a lot of my time in the LPF JamZone, a fantastic place, jamming, having fun and learning a lot. My 320 gives me so much, thanks again to supernout. Got a JTM45 RI and an old Celestion 4x12 and it's hell o...

Hi, sorry I'm very late to this thread. One question concerning the beautiful CAR Springy-Tokai, as I own a CAR Springysound myself which I bought new in '80 or '81: the neck on ZeKink's guitar is different to mine and there are some other things I wanted to ask. Here are two pics, first ZeKink's To...

Hi Ian, may I? My use of the term "violining" is that you first turn the volume down, than hit the string and after this blend in the volume. So you don't have a concrete stroke (the part of hitting that note). Know what I mean? One of the basic parts in guitar playing, which is essential for the id...

Hi Arthur,

thanks. :-) Is there any info on those timbuckers besides the LPF, models, covers and so on?

I forgot something in the pm, I just shot a pic of those caps.

The little ones are those which were in my Love Rock Gold Top.

Hi Arthur,

I've a question: where can I buy those timbuckers? Does Tim White have a website?

For the caps: I've got some paper in coil caps, if your interested, you could leave a pm. Would 10 Euro be ok?

To a point, but we are also entertainers who play music for people to enjoy. The people that come to gigs only know two names and they love to see a 'real' strat or LP reproducing the songs they love. I have both Tokai and Gibson - the Tokai is much sweeter and is used for everything but for the pe...

Hi tokaiguy, :o I can't and will not knock Gibson and Fender, they had some great desighns! ... I have aLP Classic that I love but the Tok's are much closer to the feel and look of the 59'. I know the Classic is a 1960 rep with the slim neck but all things considered the Tok is the better replica. I...

Hi Ian, thanks. I think I got it now and I have to feel a bit sheepish about it. Last night I took my remaining 2 Teles and made pics of the neck-body-joint. First my Paisley: http://www.zottelweb.de/images/paisley_neckpocket.jpg This should be the old version. 8) And here is my Thinlinetele:...

Hi Lee,

yes, Tokai built Blue Flower Teles and Pink Paisley, if I'm right, that was in the middle of the 80's with Blue Flower.

Hi Ian,

just one question, you wrote: "old style neck pocket, however, this one is 70?s style ie with shoulder pocket" what is the difference, or: what means "shoulder pocket"? Are you thinking of the neck being fixed with only 3 screws?

Hi Ian, Hi tokaijunkie, thanks. :-) Ian: But just wondering about the pup swap, does it mean you didn’t really like the Seth Lovers in the 320? No, really like the Seth Lovers, these are great pickups (for me and my playing) and as far as I know, they are like the antiquities, but without the ...

My ("new") Burst :-)

Hi all, as I wrote in the modding-thread, I wanted a burst and with big thanks to Ian and supernout I got it. :-) As I said in my last posting with the ES on ebay (hope that I did not offend someone here - I was just a bit angry what some guys tell in those descriptions on ebay - new LS75 with solid...
