PS it is from the second half of 1980. '70' model number should have TEA pickups (lower numbered models have TEB), I think? My breezy has got a TEB pickups :-? 8) Thanks. Brass nut is original for a 1980 TE80, my 1978 ST100 also originally had a brass nut.

Shouldn't it have a '80' stamp in the fretboard? How about the 7 digit serial number at the back of the neck instead of the neckplate? No stamp on fretboard, 7 digit (first digit '8' stands for 1978) serial number at back of heel, small neckplate (from looking at the photo? OP?), all is normal for ...

For a 1980's solid top an 'S' should come behind the 'type number', e.g. CE350S. That model would also have bound neck and headstock.
