Re: Very Expensive Vintage LS-200s ? on YJ
I've been busy so haven't kept up with the threads here. I did just look at the catalog and there is no mention o Brazilain boards or Honduran mahogany in the catalog. It is always possible there is some LS-200 with those custom specs of course.

I thought 120s had a b-bender but maybe that is a separate animal.

Re: Greco Telecaster: help please!
The Greco that is based on has a 1-piece neck without fail. It looks to me like a half-decent attempt at a replica of a Greco, or the neck is a replacement with a new logo perhaps. The screws are all old style screws and the body looks to be SEN ash so it could be an original body with a changed bri...

The early 1978 LS-80s had MOP inlays. I imagine the early LS-100s did too but I never had one.

Re: The 2020 Tokai LS-320
That is a Sonix shop model. I think the current 320 is like the old 260 or whatever it was called so not all the bells and whistles. Too bad with that nice piece of lumber on the top!

Re: Tokai Springy Sound 1978 newer than new
That is a great example of an early Tokai. The grain is deceiving but IMO there is a body join in the centre as it is with the 60 and 80 models. Tokai were so good with their grain matching it is hard to tell in many cases.

Good luck with the sale. It is a very nice guitar. I should know, I used to own it!
Nice 1-piece body on that.

Re: Is this Greco LPC a super real?
Cliff, from the auction pics they aren't. Some EG-500Cs did have waffelbacks. One is for sale on YA but is listed as an "EG-1000C?"
They did use wafflebacks on some lower models early on in 1980.

No confusion in Japan, that is the proper Japanese word for Brazilian rosewood here.

Re: History Las Vegas LP ST 1995
Nice guitar! I happen to have the History goldtop studio LP version from the same period and from the routings it is exactly the same style as an early Bacchus LP I have. My guess is that yours is not Fujigen, but rather Deviser. Have a look at the tenon and routing and you will probably see somethi...

Very much the same shape and inlay shape as the Fujigen custom BATT models of the time.
