Nooooooooooooooooooo............

That o/w ST60 is just what I've been looking for for the past few years but I've just blown the music budget on PA gear. Ah well... c'est la vie

All the best with the sales - glad to see the '40 looking good 8)

I would add closer pics of the front and back of the headstock/tuners - too blurry to tell if they're the Kluson (split post) types or some other.

Welcome to the forum. If the guitar genuinely is a 1986 ST60 (seems ok from the photos) then it will be a very good quality guitar indeed. The asking price seems reasonable (especially with a hard case) but it's always worth haggling.

I'd agree with lifeline; I swapped out the VIIs in my '50 for some Kent Armstrongs - vintage alnico at neck and middle with a 'rails' humbucker at the bridge. Nice mix of vintage and modern tones with a lot more 'body' and none of the shrillness. Still I have the VII's safe (somewhere) in case i eve...

great amp but no inputs for laptop thats the only downer for me :o Fair comment - not sure how good backing tracks would sound through the Trademark. There are a couple of new Yamaha 'home' amps that got rave reviews in this month's Guitarist - might be worth a listen: www.andertons.co.uk/combo-amp...

The Ashdown MAG 300 combo is rated at 307w RMS and the head version gets good reviews for having plenty of power. Possibly down to an inefficient speaker in the combo version? Ashdown, Behringer etc. are built down to a price rather than up to a spec... Good reply from StugIII Also 'watts' is a funn...
