your comments regarding the EG1000 I sold to you are pathetic, the discussion regarding authentication of Dry Z is still not finished. I know they are original pickups, and that they are in fact Dry Z. your attempts to persuade other forum members that this was a fraudulent sale by me to you, can on...

Hi japanstrat I have heard the pickups on that guitar, before it was sold to a TF member....... I also owned a 1984 Greco RR95K with the Kahler tremelo and dry 1982 pickups, very heavy at 5.4kg, and pure rock tones, very high clarity. On comparo, the EG1000 sounded much better, it sustained longer a...

I think the same as what MIJvintage said. To me they look like Greco stock pickups. The hole in the right hand corner and the bottom screws match some Dry pickups so they might be Dry 82 pickups that have lost their sticker. Guys, here are some more photo's of the pickups showing the hole placement...

Hey, I thought leeching other pictures from the web and using them is a copyright breach, and that copyright laws are actually international. Those Fakai manufacturers/distributors/sellers seem to think they can walk on water. They use real pictures of Tokai, Fender, and Gibson guitars to advertise,...

Hi Mark I had a 1982 SS70 that had a D stamp as well, and a Tokai specialist guy with information about it, mentioned that the D means for export to Germany. But, I don't think that is quite right, and I am positive that something is wrong with that explanation, most likely because of the translatio...

Thanks Mark Ed, you really are getting a great guitar, it's the sound, and feel, it's the 'clarity' of those Dry Z that really set's them apart, truly remarkable clear tones. Congrats. Liverpool, The EGF850 will be sold again shortly. It will have a more detailed description, so as to avoid any conf...

Good work Gibsonlegal. +1 Counterfeit mofo's. You see, counterfeit manufacturers, are only taking profits from the real manufacturers, such as Fender, Gibson and Tokai, and that profit money should only go back to the companies. If the money doesn't then, their profits decrease, and that starts a ch...

I understand his point. But if you spot a Tokai Paula for such a price on eBay then you'll know instantly it's not a real one. You let it go or you buy it, just for the fun of it. Selling a fake as the real thing for a real price, that would be something different. But that's my opinion. ... if you...

Thanks Mark Yes, there is fret binding http://www.ivysounddesign.jp/yahoo_photo/index.cgi?507 But no other pics I was very interested to know how high this will actually go, as it is nudging the US$4000 mark already, I think it will end up higher, even with the blister figure, I think a flame top mi...
