Hi Ralf! thanks for your reply! ... but I'd like to switch the black pickguard for a tortoise one... do you know any brands that produce a pickguard that fits with the Tokai holes? Hello to the forum & thanx for your compliments! The ORVILLE LP Junior is one of my best guitars! KILLER-resonance and extremely versatile! The TOKAI LP Junior definitely is a superb guitar too. Congrats! A great guitar! If you?re a live-player the lightweight 3,7 kg will be helpful. I have got 3 MIJ LP?s weighting ca. 3,6 kg with very resonant acoustic tone, but my early?70s Gibson LP Deluxe weighs 4,6 kg(!) and is exactly on the same resonance-level. So I think the weight can, but does no...

HI mojo! THANX for the compliments! Here you?ll find a pic of the orig. tuners with their sheet metal-covers. http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/other-les-pauls/64213-fresher-leo-line-interesting-guitar.html I mounted a set of aged nickel Crazyparts single-line/single-ring Kuson-replicas on my Fresher....

CONGRATS, mojo!

The guitar looks great! I was watching the YouTube-clip a lot during the last weeks. The FL-450 S Goldtop sounds awesome! Same woody, honky & dry tone like my Fresher LS-800. I love it!
The original tuners mounted by Fresher are really ugly & cheap.

Thanx for your compliments, Mole Man! Please don?t use these techniques on older TOKAI, GRECO, BURNY and on guitars. It?s the (my) way to make a newer poly-gloss-finish look 'older' or 'vintage'. If I can help, please ask. Regards, Ralf http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy79/mojotop/EDWARDSE-LP-92S...

@ Max The Dog: THANX!!

@ cosmitron 2: Use the finest you can find, use it soft & wet with vortexes/circling action. Inspect within the process.

GOOD LUCK! Please show some pics of the result!

Ralf

You?re posting some newer facts in THIS forum. So I?d guess the PU?s are PU-1 types. Post a pic of the lettering on the PU-groundplate.
