I may of seen this guitar , or one like it before about a week ago when I was looking on the net about ES60 s.
It may of been on you tube or through google images ?
The guy said he had the block inlays put in by a friend.

definately , some of those old budget guitars were barely playable and did not stay in tune for more than 1 song. Things have moved on a lot and quality is getting better. been looking into getting a 2nd guitar like an sg or es60 as the love rock starts to hurt my shoulder after an hour or so. Cant ...

maybe cheap isn't the right word.
Budget or low end maybe a better way to descibe them.
Guitars like fender squier , epiphone , chinese made tokai .

I have found that the action , intonation and tuning on cheaper guitars to be the main problem. esp the action , never played a cheap guitar that has had a nice low action . Prehaps its that they are never set up properly in the shop ? I had a yamaha pacifica that i got as a spare / dropped tuning ....

Playability of cheaper guitars

over the years i have tried out many guitars from cheap ?100 strat copies up to les pauls / prs over ?2000. As expected the cheaper guitars dont play or sound as good as the expensive ones. what i am trying to understand is the resons why and the factors included . most cheaper guitars sound better ...

played a sg35 earlier and was an 06 serial number but had no made in sticker on headstock.

anyone know how the chinese es 60 compare to the chinese epi dots ?
just curious cause been thinking about getting a semi hollow as my back is giving in to the weight of my love rock after 3hrs of practicee. i love the guitar but the neck pain is starting to get to me.

hi , yes it was rockers in denmark street. They had quite a selection of tokais in there. They said they may be getting some in a couple of weeks, but as I rarely go to London I was trying to find one elsewhere. They have a nice matte finish zebra pick up jap love rock in there if anyone is interest...

Tokai ES60 - Shortages in UK ?

Hi , been looking around for a rh es60 for a while now and cant seem to find one . Was in London last weekend and one of the shops in denmark street street had sold out and only had lh.
Anyone seen any about or know if they are on shortage ?
Seems odd cause there are loads of love rocks and sgs about.

Cant understand why they have the odd headstock and reborn name. it was for sale for ?650 which is a lot I think as its 2nd hand and looks awful. no doubt it plays well though if its a japanese made model.
