So the 'Made in Japan' sticker is legit? I thought the MIJ stuff had an impressed serial number and that the MIK stuff got the sticker.

Its all relative. Which Gibson? Most of the Japanese copies were never meant to be on the same level as something like the current Gibson Historic so don't get caught up in comparing them.
