Re: The 2020 Tokai LS-320
Tokai re-did 320 specs in 2005 when built them without fret edge binding. I got very surprised when my VF arrived here tjhat way. The guitar was stunning and great sounding buy it was a "sacrilege" to me (I understand a high money guitar must be as accurate as original inspiring it). I ordered anoth...

You can tell the difference looking at neck construction, near to headstock.

Re: NGD....ES100J
Another early 81 ES-100 owner here.
Neck is a bit thinner at the nut than a LS model but not thin slim taper. It gets fatter as far as going down the neck.
I can measure if anyone is interested in.
Really good ES-335s.

Re: Tokai LS100 Joe Walsh 1981
I own another one and I am very glad with it. It is a very ligth one but with a really good sound. As far as this guitar for sale here is not far from me, I can inspect or try it for you if you want. When I was looking for an ES a forum member helped me with the process, so I would like to return it...

Re: NGD....ES100J
Mine came with TTops, yes that ones. It came from someone in Holland who made some changes to get a tooling gigging musician from it now reverted to original. I changed for a Dr V, special set I have and to Antiquities later. It is a R model.

Re: PAF Vintage Mk4 Pickups?
Artec made pickups for several guitar brands and I would say Epiphone Korean made too, why not? It makes a lot of sense.... I was told recently ARtec made pickups for Orville somewhere in 90s buit not 100% sure. It could be put in korean made Grecos also. If you have a local firm you can negotiate e...

Low entry level guitar, laminated woods. I would not buy it but for collecting purpouses.
Always solid top in my choices.

Re: Identifying a 2010 uk tokai thats not in the catalog
I had have some 2000s LS with model inscription in the bridhe cavitie, older ones had it in neck cavitie but some modern ones I have found is in the bridge on the opposite. It is not your case however... It is a bit rare. Would it be a refinished one? I can see how there has been a tape but peeled a...

Re: PAF Vintage Mk4 Pickups?
I guess it could be Artec made because two holes in upper rigth and down left diagonal....
They would improve a bit I guess, but wire used and so much poting is a problem for a good sound.

Re: what "H"LS really means by tokai?
Thnak you Hammamatsu.
In fact, if you want to order directly a HLS with or without any twist Tokai will say no, you have to order through Hibiki or their authorized shops (listed in their website).... Would love to try an HES.....
