OK, I found the answer myself: according to the latest FERNANDES catalogue I have a 2003 model and it's made in Japan. :D

There's one thing I forgot to ask: Do they all come with the long neck tenon, even the standards or just the (58/59 type ones)? I just bought a Burny Les Paul Junior (2 cutaways) but I cannot date it. I have checked the Guitars Japan page (http://www.guitarsjapan.com/burnyfernandesinfopage.html) but still I'm not sure what I have. My guitar has: - a serial no. does "orville by gibson" only differ from "orville" because of the electronics (pickups and wiring) and the nitro finish? Is everything else the same, like woods, construction and hardware? I'm talking about 59 style models... Also do "orvilles" have long tenon? And are their necks 60 thin, 58 fat ...
