Hi, I'm looking for a maple (with skunk stripe) breezy tele neck for my 1985/6 Te70. 7 1/4" vintage radius. I may also be interested in a rosewood board as long as it has the same vintage style specs. Necks from TE50s/80s I believe are the same? If anyone has a neck in fair/good condition...

Hmm... thanks Paladin2019, that sounds really interesting. I have kept the original pot so I will get hold of some switch cleaner. My Breezy sat in its case almost un played for 20yrs for various reasons so I can't remember if the tone pot ever sounded any better. I'll probably try a Log pot...

Thanks AlanN, I bought a spare capacitor at the same time as the new pot so will try that next. I don't have a multimeter etc, only bought the soldering iron a couple of weeks ago!

Hi, a brand that I think you should have a look at for the price range is 'Rally'. Yes they are Chinese but the quality is very good IMHO. Prices new on ebay are around ?200. Mahogany body&set neck, real maple top and the pups sound fine to me. Nice action too. I have one and am very pleased...

Thanks John! I know its a bit of a hybrid now but I just wanted to play it. Its been interesting too re. finding the info about fitting the neck/nut and setting up, lining the cavities with copper foil etc and I feel I know my guitar a lot better.
