I rewired my 1980 LS60 with Bare Knuckle Mules and proper wiring - the original was door bell cable IMO Massive difference !

I have a 1980 Love Rock and recently tried 50 mm and 53mm covers on the stock pick ups and neither fitted... S-O-O-O I guess I'll have to try the 48mm -please let us know if anyone has had sucess - I guess I won't have to try the 11/16s (or is that the 48mm expressed in imperial ?) Thanks...

I agree it's a 1980 LS60 "inkie" I've got one and it's a beaut If you search for "Inkies" or "Inky" in this forum there's a good thread speculating on the origin of them :lol:

Interestingly they weren't with Baker- I can't remember the drummers name I'm afraid -they was playing in a school playground in Chelsea as a charity gig for a local community project.. I must admit I still hold quite a lot of respect for Moore for doing that - and pulling in his mates to help...

I see that now - Apoligises I read the thread too quick... My memory is that Moore swopped his SG for the LP (when he was in Skid Row ?) and further if I remember right it had it's neck broke when the car it was in was hit from behind... Er.. dare I say I think I agree with you on Moores...

I'd like to challange the claim that he owns Pete Green's guitar - he sold it ! :lol:

In answer to your question... I have a 1980 Inkie- it's great - it makes me want to play. The neck for me is spot on - quite slim compared to Les Pauls I've played and very smooth. It's all very subjective of course but don't worry about the quality of the build... If it's a reasonable...

I'm new to Tokai - so please excuse my ignorence A Reborn would have a 2 piece top right ? Were any made with 3 piece tops? I have been looking at photos of a guitar that is described as a '78 Reborn and there is clearly two seams running down the top of the guitar. I have noted that...
