Just would like to know if any forum users have a Zakk Love Rock and would be willing to share their opinion of the guitar.

Are you saying that the Bullseye Tokais are bogus??

why have you been told to avoid the Korean models? I have a MIK Love Rock and it is a very cool sounding guitar. I would be interested to know the actual difference between a MIJ and MIK Tokai. In my opinion, my Korean Made Tokai is as good sounding as an AMerican Made Gibson.

I found my 2003 Love Rock had similiar problems - would go out of tune after heavy playing after about an hour or so.

Just talked to the salesman at the guitar shop and he insists that it is an alder body with a maple top. Who knows... I am probably making too much of nothing.
ok ... I just pulled my pickups out and checked, and what from what I could tell the wood had a reddish brown tint and didn't look like plywood...
