Just to further complicate matters I have a 1962 Custom Edition P bass with the italic script - never seen another one. Always a Hard puncher if anyone lists a Bass. Bought it new from a dealer in UK in 1994 - still had cellophane on so either it was old stock or no one liked it! (unlikely)...

Hand made Tokai acoustic which I think is a copy of the Martin D35. Model number is CE-400 which puts it near the top of the range. Bound ebony fingerboard and headstock with solid spruce top and hard case. Ebony board has snowflake markers. Sounds very loud and sweet. ?350 ono before I ebay it.
