Doesn't the 'OS' in the pickup cavity mean 'Old Sunburst'?

I had 2 ULS150s made in 2005. Definitely no fret edge binding (has anyone ever seen a non-vintage LS150 with FEB?). and both 1 piece backs. This guitar looks like a 1 piece back to me.

While I agree that it looks like veneer I see nothing clear enough in these photos to prove this conclusively. The sections that we need to see are out of focus. However the opinions given above are from people with far greater experience and knowledge than I have.

Sato responded to this by stating that 'authority of the samurai is my roots'. I interpret this to mean he has samurai honor (Bushido) himself. In that case comments like butrus made are valid.

It wasn't a fair price if the buyer didn't get what he paid for. I think Koiz is risking a lot of business by not resolving this issue.

I have experience of these Tokais: 1999 LS-320 - Similar neck to my LP Custom Lite and LP Supreme - I believe that is 60's slim taper. 1985 LS-60 - Neck similar to my LP custom - Slightly chunkier than 60's neck 2005 LS150 - Much chunkier than 60's neck although not a baseball bat.

A better title might be 'Is this an MIJ?'

At ?450 I'd go for the LS90Q.
